I miss the days where we had both 4chan and 8chan, 8chan moe is getting a nice bit of traffic, but almost nothing, soyjak is getting a lot of traffic, but is very low quality.

I do hope that this event brings alternatives to 4chan, without high traffic altchans, nothing will improve or change

We are at the start of a new area, and all the Chans had there golden eras when the internet was alive and good. I think a lot more image board sites are going to be forming due to 4chan is kill.

I think a testament to how shit 4chan became in its later years of life is that I lurked it starting over a decade ago yet barely ever posted since by the time I was old enough not to come off as literally a child (not counting the one greentext I posted about my bigfoot sighting when I was a teen. I'd be happy to recount, just ask.), there was usually nothing quality enough or the post rate was so fast I never had the urge to post. On the contrary, many actual quality threads were stagnant and it made me uncertain about participating because they were rapidly slid down the board by the ever-present shitty generals and, key word here, *boring* schizo shitposters.
Since being forced to use altchans and not just doomscroll down any given board and have constantly updating content in any given thread, I've actually begun to engage and contribute.

Some went to Ourchan.
None went to Crystal Cafe because it's hostile girls/tranny's club.
