I very much enjoy rangers of shadow deep. All the fun of a wargame and painting models, without any of the smell of the dorks at the game store who keep trying to touch my dice with their cheeto and jizz crusted fingers .

I mean, you can just do that with your friends in general. We play kill team and haven't set foot in a GW store in years. Dark Heresy isn't even in print anymore and we still play that.

Ive played...2nd Edition, 3rd and the latest. The lore and factions are great but the system is so extremelly rules heavy that it hurt the gameplay

Friend and I did the latest edition, IG vs IG match 1K point, took us 3 hours to resolve the match in 5 turns.

Imo, Id probably go for one page rules
