Well, after a long hiatus I have returned, so, with my re-positioning back onto the staff we have decided to reinstate a request sticky. (Apparently I was the only one who could handle you fucking shit lords.)

The rules are as follows; as they were back in 2016:

No Flaming one another

This thread is for sharing information about playbooks and things involving tabletop games. This is not a place to call people shit heads and tell them their mom is gay.
(They probably already know that.)

No Trolling

Again this is a place to distribute information about tabletop games. No one cares how fucking funny it was you pissed off that other anon in the thread. You are just making it harder for people to get the shit they want and making it harder for me to do my job.

This is the only request thread.
I know the board has been experiencing a downturn in activity in my absence, but, no other request threads need to be posted outside of this one.

Buckle up folks. This is a story I've been wanting to tell other people, but only shared within my friend groups. Kept it pretty quiet, aside from that.

I like play games, have a lot of both: tabletop, laptop. I think that it is better to play on a laptop because game can take you to another world. Or options for games that can be played on a computer and phone. For this I love https://www.hypercasino.org/ . There are many different games, I can always find something suitable for myself.

TG is better; Vidya already has a world laid out for you and has boundaries on your imagination: E.G there is none. It's like watching a movie.

Well Mageguru is back scaring people again. Giving too many smart talk, strip you guys down your confidence. When asked how to do it, remain silent. Until you offer to him your pdf for so called "professional" cleaning, then that's it. He got all your personal info. You mess with him, he post your identity. CAIN is a relatively new D6 system that I found recently, and I've been completely obsessed with it. This is my attempt to propagandize for it, in hopes of drawing in more players.

The basic premise is that you play as psychic supersoldiers called exorcists, who have been indoctrinated or subjugated by a pseudo-religious bureaucratic org called CAIN.

You are sent to kill fuckoff monsters called Sins that manifest from humanity's negative emotions and traumas, with minimal resources and basically free reign from CAIN to do whatever you wish, as long as you maintain the veil and wipe the stain.

The system is rules-light, and largely narrative based, focusing heavily on ideas of being stretched thin, low on resources, in over your head, and marching forwards anyways. The rulebook is pretty cheap ($20) and I've had a damn blast playing the two games I've run so far. I can STRONGLY suggest checking it out, this shit rocks.

a) investigating what's going on with the sin, why it manifested (what negative experiences created it?), and where it's holed up

Unfortunately, I don't have people to play stuff with, so I mostly run games by myself, adapting stuff here and there, using GMEs, a bunch of tables and other things.
I had a bit of a hard time soloing CAIN at first, but once I got things going, I had an absolute blast.
I highly recommend this game, both from a mechanical perspective and a narrative/setting perspective, and I'm sure it can be a lot more fun with a proper setup with, you know, other people.

About 20+ years ago we where game 2nd D&D
The party had to split and stop a rout in the poor quarter outside Greyhawk City

My chactor came across a young woman being raped in back alley of the slum area, by a man and four others waiting and watching
My chactor slept the four watching, cast hold person the rapist walked up to the fisrt four and slit their throats. He the walked up to the woman handed her the knife and told to kill the the rapist.
The DM said she di and I told to go home stay safe.
The rest of the party have not looked at me the same why ever since.

I don't care, for me I think it was the right thing for character to do and played it accordingly.
