Well if you have all the tools needed to start then go ahead and do it!

I myself am also starting to program in c using a book called The C Programming language.

Make sure to learn fundamental c concepts and do projects.

Good Luck!

You never stop feeling lazy and stupid when coding.
You are REALLY stupid if you only do vibe coding and think it’s the same thing as programming

Better off learning rust instead

Isn't Rust just castrated C++?

Good Idea! Read The C Programming Language by Kernighan and Ritchie (make sure it's the ANSI C version). Ideally work in linux (/unix-like) to get the most out of the book.

I have a copy of this on my shelf
It's less an intro to C and more an intro to general programming, which happens to be in C. It starts at the very beginning, with strings and arrays, then moves into programming logic. It was my first experience with if statements and for loops, many a moon ago.
Running MingGW on windows 7 lmao
