There is no afterlife Anonymous 25/04/19(Sat)10:47 No. 16374

The facts are simple after you see all the evidence afterlife can not exist after brain death there is nothing.

Everything else is word games.
1) Memories and personality are destroyed after the brain gets damaged
2) This happens from injuries to the brain or old age (alzheimer's)
3) Therefore destroying the brain destroys your mind.

Anyone who disagrees with this line of reasoning has no basis to conclude that fire exists or will happen after you light up wood or oil.
<Dude that is a logical fallacy correlation is not causation!

Yet you committed the argumentum ad logicam logical fallacy (nice self contradiction) yourself right now and you still accept that fire exists and will burn flammable things(nice self contradiction/schizophrenia).

there is no afterlife because life is all there is, it does not start it does not end, it is and it always was and will be, there is no death, only life

This is FALSE!

> it is and it always was and will be
Asserting absurdities with no evidence.

>, there is no death, only life
Ignoring how cartoonishly stupid all of this is how about I go and cut your head off? After all this will not kill you according to your own insanity!

>, there is no death, only life
Look more absolutely wrong insanity! You are insane!
If you disagree then it is time to cut your head off.
WE can then continue this discussion after you without a head.

I do not need to.
<Wow a computer when damaged produces the same errors and glitches?
<This is proof that computers have an afterlife
This is how you sound.
What is so magical about that?
Are you familiar with dreams and hallucinations?
Or that hallucinations can be created with chemicals on demand?

if you want to believe in nothing after you die then you are free to believe in that but i have to do something and pursue something before i die.

just know that i feel pity for you. you got psyoped by the worst people on this planet and comparatively, you are nothing and worth nothing and your vocalized opinion even less

There's nothing more magical than logic. For starters it relies on axioms and to make it just a little bit more trippy, it doesn't allow you to have the full set of axioms, because if you do, it says "fuck you, I will break the fuck down now".

>if you want to believe in nothing after you die then you are free to believe in
This is literally unquestionable fact at this point.

>t i have to do something and pursue something before i die.
This statement makes literally zero sense.
Like legitimately makes no sense.

You need to be insane (and we know all these pro after life people really are) to post garbage like this.

Lets see
Atheist
>I have only 1 life and if I do not do something of importance my life is wasted and I have nothing

Afterlife fag
>Actually this life has no meaning and there is a super fun super magical everlasting dimension where we will life forever.
Like how do you even function? If afterlife was real and you actually believed in it and not did have several layers of mental illness you whould kill yourself to go to the super special fun forever place dimensino.

However the reality is very simply you are scared and pathetic and to cope with this your subconscious did leach onto the afterlife lie. This is why you keep repeating it despite literally not believing in any of it.

If you actually believed in it your would kill yourself or not give a shit about your mortal life. This is simple fact.

This was pointed out to religious fagots a long time ago.

In my life God has crushed me with illness as per Isaiah chapter 53. I would use coffee to get me out of bed and doing things, and then alcohol to remove my inhibitions. God gave me illnesses from these and it's make it or break it time. Here is the excerpt from Isaiah 53 with Rabbi commentary:

>And the Lord wished to crush him, He made him ill. The Holy One, blessed be He, wished to crush him and to cause him to repent; therefore, he made him ill.

>If his soul makes itself restitution, etc.. Said the Holy One, blessed be He, “I will see, if his soul will be given and delivered with My holiness to return it to Me as restitution for all that he betrayed Me, I will pay him his recompense, and he will see children, etc.”

This argument equivocates between correlation and identity, assuming that because mental functions correlate with brain activity, they are identical to it—an inference that is neither logically nor metaphysically justified. Damage to the brain correlating with changes in memory or personality does not prove that consciousness is reducible to the brain; it only shows that the brain is a condition for certain types of experience within this mode of embodiment. The argument conflates empirical dependency with ontological sufficiency, and then uses this to assert the impossibility of any post-mortem consciousness—an unwarranted metaphysical leap. Furthermore, it mistakes the observable regularities of physics (like fire following ignition) for ontological closure about the nature of mind, failing to see that the former deals with appearances within a shared field of experience, whereas the latter concerns the conditions of that field itself, which cannot be settled by empirical observation. Hence, the claim that "there is nothing" after death is not a fact, but a dogmatic assertion masquerading as empiricism.

It's also interesting that lots of convincing NDEs describe God as a great light in a dark expanse, as well as the presence of light beings, or angels. This confirms works from 2,000 years ago called Apocalypse of Peter and 2 Esdras.

Proving or disproving an afterlife is like trying to prove a metaphysical being, you can't neither do it or not do it.

Personally I believe that the only materialistic determinism that makes sense is that we get "reborn" a la reincarnation but without any memory or personality only our consciousness reemerges similar to how hashes has an finite set of possibilities.

I come from King David's line, the one who wrote the Psalms. A Jewish Lutheran teacher of mine told me I was the Messiah described in Song of Songs chapter 5. I told her I didn't believe her. The thing about what Peter Panagore said about God telling him to choose the light and instead he chooses just outside of it because he wanted autonomy rings true to me.

Some of us appear when we're needed and are genetically coded from birth, requiring no NDEs, to make us fight for light and love.

The big ball of light that loves us unconditionally rings true also. It's just a big story, like a play, that all leads back to God.

Here is the excerpt of God from 2 Esdras:

"On Judgment Day there will be no sun, moon, or stars;
no cloud, thunder, or lightning; no wind, water, or air; no darkness, evening, or morning;
no summer, spring, or winter; no heat, frost, or cold; no hail, rain, or dew;
no noon, night, or dawn; no daylight, brightness, or light. The only light will be the dazzling brightness of God Most High, making it possible for everyone to see.
The judgment will last seven years.
That's the arrangement I have made for Judgment Day, but I have revealed these things only to you."

Why is Peter Panagore's story unbelievable? I just woke up with new insight. He says in Heaven he pokes his head out from the field of Heaven and sees our universe and other universes above, below and beyond ours. He describes God as a big ball of light who wants to take him and who oozes pure love. Our souls are ethereal, a kind of ghost without solid form, and we are cast into these material bodies as a type of game or test for our souls.

Peter became an ordained Christian minister so he went to college after he had his near death. I believe it.
