Can someone please identify this scene for me? I don't know if it's a film or a series nor if the father is played by John Goodman or someone who looks like him. Don't know how old it is, no younger than the 2010s (probably). It takes place "here and now".
A Jewish family is having dinner. One of the sons asks about his father's parents, that it is true that they fled from the Nazis to the USA & met there.
"Yes, that is true" is the answer.
Then he asks his mother if it is true that her parents fled from the Nazis to the USA & met in the USA.
"Yes, that is true" she says.
Both parents smile big & it is really cozy.
The son thinks for a while & says:
"So if it weren't for Hitler and the Holocaust, *none* of us would be here."
Then the father's good mood changes in an instant & he barks harshly at his son to go to bed without food.
