I did research for my firm and yes you PAY to use research libraries. You get an account and pay per year. When I went to UNI you could only access the research if you were enrolled in the school, and when I was no longer signing up for classes I was immediately removed. That and we had a fee to use the library and it was 700USD a semester.

I think you are the confused one, anon. You probably use public information which is outdated.

Has there been a period time where so many people have no issue with a soulless harmful thing? Is this what shows we have too many people in the world because they honestly don't think plastic is bullshit?

When else in human history were people overpopulated as all fuck so they constantly dealt with a stupid thing in their home which was culturally destructive and its production almost reproductionally destructive?

I can't think of anything.

I'm trying to write for my friend a comedy youtube and tiktok channel where he pretends to be intellectual and is full of himself. I think it will sell well given the success of Destiny when no one plays StarCraft anymore.

So I was watching this:
https://youtu.be/Unzc731iCUY
He makes a short quip that "it's almost like most people aren't smart" coming off like most people aren't. So I'm wondering what users of this site, and most people in general who aren't regular joes, think about the intelligence held by persons in general.

Do you think that most people are stupid or most people are smart and just carry on their day without making their intelligence obvious?

think of intelligence as 'capacity'. higher human abstract thought is entirely dependant on how you yourself sow the garden of your mind. the cherokee legend of 'two wolves inside of you' is true, even if you struggle with a mental illness that prevents comprehension your perspective is entirely locked within yourself, just as your personality and ego. are they seperate? one in the same? it's entirely your world within yourself that is simultaneously
you that you yourself decide, yet many people are hung on their egos and unaware of their own naivety. so our emotions eat us apart, while the true beauty of our human existance is obstructed by greed, truly no different than ego in the end. why do we bother, when we can cultivate an intelligence worthwile within ourselves that dosen't fit to feed our own egos, but to instead become the best version of ourselves that we are, in the actions you purposely take to knit together the minds of yourself and others, and in the end we can say that we truly lived, no matter who you are. we're currently at a buffer because no one realizes that paranoid schizophrenia is partially psychosomatic; one who can realize that they are 'hallucinations', and can realize what is real and not real is not crazed and in our homogenized society we let weeds sap us unconsciously and consciously.
the ego stems from the excitatory state of the white matter throughout the brain. if we did not have a physical ego, you wouldn't have the capacity to compare information as it relates to yourself, and would be plunged into chaotic static. only after years of realizing over and over again, how you automatically react to everything through self discipline do most people find themselves able to be aware of their ego in itself. the awareness of these systems in intelligence such as the use of mnemonics and the varying degrees of self awareness is all that separates those that have shared capacities of intelligence.
psychedelics personally opened my eyes as to how insane reality is, how wrong my own perspectives were, and really, that life is worth living, and most of all the awareness of how my ego had controlled my life. that self confidence and self awareness is what my generation needs to thrive!
no, i'm not being held at gunpoint by my CIA appointed MKULTRA agent. i typed this because these words are what i mean to type. lole!! lole!!

Regularly posting on the 'chans will give you some very funny ideas of people's intelligence. The fact that we can't see the person and know the basic facts about their life makes it hard to judge if what we're hearing from them is representative of how they actually think and talk.

Quite often, the superficially judged intelligence of posts on the 'chans is a direct inverse of the person's actual intelligence. Dumbasses want to be seen as smart, and want to hurt actual smart people by screwing with their heads, so they find cheap ways to make really confident-sounding psued posts that are a serious chore to pick apart. These are often seen as smart posts, despite being horseshit from retards. Meanwhile, legitimately intelligent people (and I'm not going to beat around the bush, I obviously consider myself one of these) have gotten thoroughly bored of getting ass-pats for making obvious quips and thus try to touch on more complicated and ethereal points. These are hard to properly articulate and an audience of average intelligence has a hard time understanding it no matter how well you present it. Thus, a lot of people think you sound like a moron.

isn't history a mad thing? it's like look at this crazy shit these people did and they'd do it again and they're doing it now. then its like, 99% chance none of it matters when you die so why would bother? its like, have humans changed at ALL? i mean really have they? I don't think so, it's only our environment that changes, technology and urbanization are the present state but if we were broken up into small, SPACED cities without modern transport and communication or we'd be blowing eachother up to smithereens, prove me wrong

Do what mfer?
Look, it’s not that hard. You can take any group of apes, separate some of them off into a separate group and wait, and then reintroduce them to each other, they will fight. Humans are simple animals. Only slightly more intelligent than most species, but less so compared to a couple others, the jury’s still out on whether you could call this species intelligent at all. If it is intelligent enough to create biochem, nuclear & environmental weapons and eliminate all its predators but not intelligent enough to avoid poisoning or irradiating itself or destroying its ability to survive in the natural world, well then that makes it considerably less intelligent as a species than any other, and what it considered intelligence is a mental illness, an OCD-like ability to hyper-focus on details but completely fail to function in a greater perspective.

Romanian vampire hotel built under Ceaușescu? Historian 2021年09月20日(月) 09時45分09秒 15527 [返信]

I saw it on a documentary, but don't recall the name of it. The core of the story was something like this:

>party boss sees the benefit of building a Dracula-themed hotel or at least a hotel in Dracula's home turf, because it could attract foreign capital in the form of Dracula-tourism
>goes on a hunting trip with Ceaușescu, because you're a big deal
>asks indirectly if it wouldn't be a good idea to build a hotel in the region
>gets an OK from Ceaușescu

PLOT TWIST: The hotel wasn't in the exactly correct position, but OTOH, the protagonist of Stoker's Dracula doesn't know if he's Vlad III or any of his sons that later lived in Transylvania.

So, does anyone please know the exact details of the hunting trip and the hotel?
