Realize that you have motivation and action out of order. If you want to make steps towards your goals but lack the motivation to start, then you just have to start, and you will find motivation quickly with you to continue taking steps.
I knew a guy that worked in the mailroom and was training to be an Olympic sprinter. He said that he quit every morning at 4:30 when the alarm went off. But that he got up to at least brush his teeth, make his bed, and put on his track clothes. That once he started with just those steps he was motivated to keep moving and work towards his goals.
He made it as an alternative to the 2004 games, had a grand time, and came back to working in the mailroom.
So yeah, get up and take some steps when you don't feel like starting and you will be motivated to accomplish whatever goals you have and once you have succeeded you will see that you were right to not be motivated because your goals are shit and won't make an actual difference in your life since you are the type of asshole that sets goals that aren't even worth getting up and brushing your teeth for.
