I'm millennial so maybe I'm not supposed to get it, but is there some kind of logic or reason how one follows from another? What were they recording?

Regardless, it's good for zinc preservation. But mine is often a bit bitter and in general I just have more of a sweet tooth so I failed to adopt this otherwise pretty great practice. Oh well, just take some zinc supplement I guess, although some folks give it much more meaning than that. Like it's the spiritual essence and power source of a man and if you jizz too much then you will amount to nothing. Maybe there's a correlation, but many ppl who practice the semen retention stuff I find to be just as insufferable as the rest and the great ones I doubt are great because they have less masturbation or sex. A bit of a dubious connection... But yeah, zinc, vitamin d, b12, that kind of stuff is worth paying attention to. Just don't eat multivitamins and try to minimize supplements if possible, they can do more harm than good. Omega-3, d3, zinc, b12 a bit of kelp (don't overdose!) just about does it if you have a whole food's diet with decent amount of vegetables and or fruit.

Maybe a bit of shilajit for trace stuff, maybe a bit of niacin, biotin, collagen, vit K, IDK, hard to think of something that would really be worth supplementing with. Mostly it's about a healthy mind, without that you can eat nectar of God and you'll still be fucked eventually. For most people it's not even the diet but the fact that they're surviving only because they're in a local minimum that is slowly but surely killing them even if it appears to be a homeostasis.
