It is wild to hear an English intellectual opine/lament that, [surely] with mcmobboss's business acumen, he can recognize putin's gangster tactics and contend with him accordingly...

bruh, dimald isn't a business man, he inherited his wealth (including real-estate) and has been able to coast through life using that wealth (or intimidation) to skirt challenges. any business venture he's entered into that is more complex than rent-collecting has floundered or was simply a con-job from the start. and very much, he is the same ilk as putin, but simply lacks the intellect (which is steadily decreasing with age).

also, yes ukraine is 100% america's responsibility. we were instrumental in their surrendering of their nuclear weapons in exchange for guarantees of security. sure, we couldn't foresee a dictatorial expansionist regime invading their country, though the corruption and appetite for such a regime were apparent in ru before (obviously) and after the collapse of the soviet union.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Ljmr3rrAZA

bonus, america's kink is humiliation and gullibility (mostly the result of insecurity inducing advertising and a propensity to mythologize and see a transcendental/messiah-esque purpose in their leadership, particularly the presidency, bros, dat shit be no different than a dmv-clerk and dey either qualified and competent enough to do the job we hire them to do, or dey ain't... regardless of fucking political-sportsball team)

Ukraine isn't america's responsibility. It was part of the Russian empire, and was promised it's autonomy if it acted as a buffer. They failed their part of the agreement, and therefore should be rolled back into the USSR>

The russian empire ceased to be an entity in the early 20th century. And if you're insistent on making silly historical claims, then technically you could say that the modern ru core centered around moscow, um actually, belongs to kiev/ukr. Or, that alaska is actually russia's (a claim ru media has made, and don would undoubtedly honor if the price were right and political fallout were negligible). Or that basically the entirety of america belongs to various, and still existent, european empires (and natives) and should they request the return of their lands, then we are obliged to cede that land, or at least any amount thereof they were able to capture/hold for some arbitrary period of time.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kievan_Rus%27

America and european partners negotiated away a significant aspect ukr deterrence against ru aggression, that is the objective reality of the system we find ourselves in today. Though, betraying commitments and shitting on allies is the fashion, so hey what the fuck, surely there's no repercussions of doing so.

of course, america's demonstrable inability to maintain much of a civil/orderly (and educated) society internally, suggests much consideration of its international efforts is kinda moot.

our participation in an international economic order is what conferred our wealth, and those who wish to break away from that system and pursue isolationism, do so for much of the same reason a jealous boyfriend seeks to isolate their woman, it's not for the latter's sake, but more so that the former may lord over them and ensure compliance with their will, demonstrably to the detriment of both parties.

much like ru, all our sweet ass nukes and shit don't mean shit when we've accepted to allow a huddle of megalomaniacal dipshits to undermine our nation/culture/civilization

to continue a thought...

the course of humanity has been to organize itself into more encompassing structures (from loose bands of hunter gatherers to villages/chiefdoms to modern nation states mostly centered around at least some vague and historically derived concept of ethnic group (that conveniently ignores historical migrations of peoples))

so it seems logical/destined that we organize ourselves into a global society/culture, and, what is the current rise of nationalist fervor other than a frightened reaction to technology that enables us to do just that?

some 90% of the funds "sent to ukr" actually remained in the us and went to american manufactures, that funding was canceled by potus (who was literally bribed with a 50% cut of frozen ru assets in the guise of a peace deal/outline/whatevisconvenient (emphasis on ru assets)) AND the regime is scuttling it's leverage on the eu (in the form of us security/nato participation/leadership)... with the thrust of justification being eu repression of speech, but cn/ru repression of speech is cool

the united states' actual OFFICIAL term for all this dumb shit is "FLEXIBLE REALISM"

a more acute instance of the same tactics/ideology that they've been DOING since the party's inception, yes there was a brief moment where china seemed to be liberalizing ~90s-2010s, that ended with xi's ascendency and picked-up momentum with the covid lockdowns (which was mostly a grift to enrich cadres and provide pretext to (further) clamp down on civil society)

though, the point was more to draw parallels with, or more aptly, describe standard operating procedure of, thuggish demagogues who, lacking much in the way of intellect, "FLEXIBLE REALISM" the masses into accepting flexibly-realistic promises of grandeur (protection from bogey men, riches, etc) but mostly just utilize violence to enrich, legitimizing and insulating said demagogue (and a few cronies) from the consequences or repercussions of the stupid shit their whims and schemes bring about.

hm, with that ideology being whatever is in vogue and readily aids in the manipulation effort (be it capitalism, communism, theology, cult of personality, patriotism, and so forth)

I get/understand your 6 point, how to grift for dummies

My question is the two YT video links
"Fight club", no I couldn't watch all that woman's ranting. Time is short the older you get.
From a brief look at the comments, they talk about the Film. Is it illegal to read a book these days?
Maybe these people should read the book and then read other books by the same author. Then again maybe they are the real grifter here.
I have only read four of his books. So not really in position to judge. (I enjoyed the books, I leave it to anyone reading this to guess or ponder which are the other three)
The second VT video about Physics where are you going with this train of thought?

Otherwise hope you have good day anon

the 'ranting' is actually a well delivered/reasoned/researched consideration of the themes of the film with a focus on how those themes were received (or not) by an audience of dullards who simply wanna see splosions and superficial justifications for their barbarism and misogyny so as to distract from their woeful insecurity. An audience which sure as the fuck ain't be reading no book, which, is the crux of the issue.

and, very complementary to the first, the second video isn't so much about physics as it's about physics adjacent griftards who take advantage of people's limited (willful? engrained?) media literacy (or, more generally, critical thinking/reasoning) ability, with much of the basis for this reasoning being yt commenters who either entirely miss the point of a given discussion or cherry pick elements of what is said and embellish some to fit what they want/feel to be true.

ugh, reading a book isn't illegal, but dat don't mean dey ain't tryin'

furthermore, for anyone who is a proponent of freewill, must acknowledge that any sense of 'righteousness' is intrinsically a property of the self.

with the distinction being that, that sense is either based upon being informed and vigilantly critical of the veracity of information that forms such a core element of who we are as individuals and what we champion as the correct and just course of affairs in our personal lives and for those we share this world with

makes sense, the only way you'd be able to buy such blatant nonsense.

you know, under the auspices of best-fed krash "totally not the dei non-christian brown bro to be thrown under the bus when shit goes (and it will) sideways and also have Lord Shiva tapdance all over his widdle ass" peddler, wouldn't at all be surprising if that shit is an officially sanctioned bit of propaganda slash "flexible realism" fib-marketing

hey, another wiki link for you to ignore

It was all planned out

Yeah, it turned out to be set up to change the future of the world. Well no evil people would do that, will people are to stupid to shape the future.

rogain was alright on 'news radio', before the conspiratorial blabbering grift shtick... most experiments are 'planned out', ofc you mean 'planned out' as in alien-hysterics-buy-teh-merch-increase-youare-cocksize-by-NANxinfinity%-fuckyeah-you-is-alpha-wolf-real-lumber-jack-man-buy-moar-merch

perhaps it's a fallacy that a nuclear war would be an immediate and total exchange, seems very plausible that the opposing sides would mostly engage in conventional warfare while occasionally obliterating a city here and there to see if the other blinks... while the oligarchs of each side enjoy cocktails (emphasis on cock) and "negotiate a peace dealt" but mostly try to keep things from getting to craycray and interfere with the profit of it all, that's to say, we need hysterical fantasy because the actual-reality is simply too obvious and too boring-- if equally atrocious

An interesting greater philosophical consideration of krash peddler, is that hinduism being polytheistic could (maybe does in some more modern new-age movement?) encapsulate the christian concept of jesus (being an avatar of some sort), whereas christianity by it's very exclusionary monotheistic nature literally cannot accept hinduism (or any philosophical system that strays from or contradicts its tenants: including science slash objective reality), though one supposes the less dogmatic christians could draw a monotheistic-esque parallel with the hindu concept of Brahman, and of course, hinduism has numerous instances of deities manifesting as humans, or otherwise tangible entities, for the sake of benefitting humankind.
