The problem isn't The peace plan, it's the fact that Europe is broke, because people are under the thumb of their governments and the bureaucracy and stupidity thereof.
If Europe wasn't broke, there is actually the will to stop the invasion and even the means to some extent, but not enough. They can't give the decisive advantage on the battlefield.
Well at least that's the surface, if we dig deeper, the real problem as Frank Zappa said is that everyone is fucking stupid and insane, well that's not what he said, he said mental health and I agree.
It's a massive tragedy. Whatever way it stops is the best way for it to stop. In 10 years the conflict will be irrelevant. Yet the people will still be maimed or dead. If we can stop the fighting now, assuming it doesn't resume in a year or two or three, it will be resolved 100% just in a bit of time, I guarantee, a new age is coming. It will be resolved but without all the fucking dead and injured. Well trauma you can overcome, but serious injury and death that's trickier. Also time. All the time that all of these people are putting into this war they're not putting it into their lives, into their businesses, into their art, into their creativity and one could argue that that would be of low value anyway, but regardless, it's time lost and for what? People's lives are short. Even 5 years taken from a young person is a lot of time taken away. Ukrainian people are fine people, I don't want them dead especially not the young ones. I'm glad that they have the will and the courage to fight, but the sacrifices are altogether too large.
Tldr I hope Ukrainians stop fighting, even if it means greater danger for me here in Lithuania. Did you political situation and the entire world situation will change drastically in the next 5 years, strap in autists.
