This is simply false, Every single person on earth shares 99% of their genealogy with Africans. All humas fall under hominin categories. The real difference is that Africans have ghost DNA that we do not understand where it came from as we have no found fossils, but, we have an idea that it may be from Australopithecus. Europeans actually are unique in the sense that we share DNA with Neanderthal where as africans do not. Asians share genetics with Denisovans which you do not see in europeans or africans from the most part.

What I mean is that I have no reason not to be brutally honest with myself on matters as trivial as this. Yeah I enjoy big production most of the time, because is how I grew up and learnt to appreciate cinema. Although I guess eternal sunshine of the spotless mind or such could be considered low production, but you know the Hollywood stuff.

And I think there were many amazing movies from 80s to around 2010. But I haven't been watching movies last 10 years because I was so disgusted with the crap they've been pumping las 15 years. And the actors are mostly all shit too. Not even beautiful anymore, like wtf, at least do beautiful if the art of acting itself is dead, make them fucking pretty, but no, not even that for the most part.

La Heine is on my small little watchlist tho. Mostly been watching japanese animation these last 10 years. But mostly just stopped watching. Except for shorts. TT in 2022 TT had crazy good algorithm and unbelievable artists. Probably still has, but the algo sucks now. A bit of good art on IG but mostly pics not much motion picture. But the music scene exploded in the last 10 years if you know where to look. Very grateful. Although it's almost exclusively lofi. Even pop is lofi nowadays. Crazy how we regressed with sound quality across the board. Very few artists/studios bother anymore.

Well there are many decent and good movies, but based on the scores you gave I'll refrain from recommending more.

But I will say as long as the director is able to appreciate the multidimensionality of it, it's in one way or another going to be decent. But it's also exactly the reason it's virtually impossible to make a true masterpiece unless by both mastery and accident simultaneously.
Same with books. Writing an actually good book is virtually impossible. This is not the case with picture or music. Those can and often are almost or truly perfect. Not that that's easy, but at least it's possible. Books and even moreso movies have WAY to many dimensions and people are too dumb, one person is too dumb, but it can't be a team either, because it becomes Disney vs Anime. Generic and boring vs potential depth if there is a clear leader of the project.

Kubrick was kind of a one man team like that, God bless him. Darren Aranofsky has a method to his madness, but I think he got extremely lucky a lot.

Movies are great, but I'm waiting for the Renaissance. And I can't really stomach the low budget productions, because most movies and most books I just can't stomach, but if they have shitty actors it's even worse. So yeah, it is what it is. God bless ppl for trying. And damned be those who are using art as a way to make a buck. I understand artists need to survive, but you have patronage for that.
