Does anyone here go to your local agricultural or state fair? It's getting to be that time of year! Have you ever competed with your animals or things you've cooked/grown/art?

Sometimes it's fun just to walk around and see what's new in the community. Also try out those crazy unhealthy foods or maybe you've competed in a tractor pull or a demolition derby! (≡^∇^≡)

Might seem controversial but murder is very bad and whoever did it should be allowed to die or life in prison. As for the person, I barely knew who he was. From what I have learned recently all he did was go around to colleges and freely debated people in a open setting and made a youth conservative organization. He seemed like a nice person I guess. I don't think people should be shooting each other for freely expressing their beliefs and even providing a platform for others to debate him quite literally right in front of him with a microphone in hand.

Anyways, the reason why I made the thread this morning is because that was where I went today. I had alot of fun! I don't quite get the combine picture. Like someone made a 2 out of the 7? When was the last time the average home was 100k?! In 1980?! The sign doesn't look that old. I also met a nice young girl who stitched a moon with a pack of wolves. It was very pretty! (ヅ) Oh yeah, and alot of funky food!

I actually exhibited our beef cattle one year when I was very young and when I was even younger, I gave out free milk cartons to people.

How many of those combines could your family buy?
Hope they're not soybean farmers.

The reduction of ""debate"" into closeminded circus acts and the rebranding of hate speech into ""free speech"" were the two smartest things that the racist shitheads upstairs ever did. We'll never get out of this mess before the planet is fully destroyed because they've muddied the waters and confused the retarded public so much that even faggots like Kirk can be considered by half of the population "a nice person that just wanted to discuss his beliefs." I'm sick of people pretending like everything these faggots have ever said, WITH context, is not all actively recorded and readily available online. Seriously, how do we fix this? How do we make anything better when even the statement "promoting white supremacy and misinformation to the country's youth means you're a bad person" is somehow a controversial debate? When someone can deny that that was what he was doing even when you provide multiple real examples of it? How do you get through to someone who thinks their false truth should get just as much credence as the actual truth?

Same with this faggot shooter. All the details are out there. We already know the dumbass was an internet-poisoned far right extremist (again). But we're all going to collectively ignore that, still blame the left because the faggot was a faggot, as if no right-winger has ever sucked a dick before. We're all going to collectively ignore the facts, treat the facts like another opinion so we just keep arguing and hating and never, EVER look up at the piece if shit grifters that have seized total control of our government.

Jesus fucking christ this is all so tiresome. I'm not even your usual hater, Liru-chan, I generally like you and your posts. This is more of a vent than a diatribe against you as an individual I guess, but it is frustrating to see even the cutesy moon wolf parroting that this dude was anything other than human garbage.

When I was growing up we wouldn't have bought any. Those huge combines are a midwest thing for people with ALOT of land. They just had heavy AG equipment at the fair yesterday. We didn't grow things we raised beef cattle on a few hundred acres but that wasn't our primary company either. I remember sometimes we had to use the tractor to bush-hog the weeds and chop, ted/rake and bail hay that we gave them during winter but that's it. Since then my family got rid of all the cattle, dad moved away to Hawaii and a few other places part time, I went and bought a place after I graduated high school in Cape Canaveral Florida and went to college with in-state tuition and yada yada cheap and the old homestead became pretty empty and was kinda badly managed by our employees of a company my dad made. So I got it after he passed and my sibling didn't want it. Since then, the same farmers have grown soybeans a few times. Corn once which did something bad to the soil for some reason I dunno but then went back to hay. Some sections are hay for horses, the rest for cattle/general.

Fast forward to the last 5/6 years and solar companies are constantly calling, mailing things to me at multiple addresses trying to get me into a 20 year solar lease. I reluctantly talked to one who said I only have about 80 acres of clear usable land they could use. The rest is creeks/ponds/forest and unusable. I barely make any money through the farmers. Just a little more than to cover the crazy property taxes. I could probably make close to 15m over twenty years if I let a company make a little solar farm on my land but I'm sentimental and the more I read about cadmium leaching and stuff it's putting me off. I've always wanted to be a good steward of the land that either i've bought or was given to me and I am a little bit of an environmentalist... BUT there is a part of me that says I should just get some soil testing and guarantees in writing and go buy more land out west with those funds and enjoy life and something like this is holding me back somehow. Some people think I'm an idiot for not taking the money and running with it especially since the home, barns, streams, forest and some of the land would still be open and useable. This came in the mail yesterday. Ugh... sentimental. I guess I am glad I have a special someone, a very few good friends and family that comes by or I visit them and am in good health. Those are the things that really matter! (´•ω•`♥)

Wow! We posted at the same time. Freaky! Oh and I understand and thank you as well for that. I think it's wonderful you and many people have an opinion that is near to your heart and that we can talk about it on here and hopefully not get so worked up in seething hatred where some of us can be reduced to do despicable things such as killing. I really didn't know he was so beloved but he was Christian and he obviously touched alot of people for good and some for worse. Also again, wow the timing. G2g! <3

What about if you sold the coastal property that you were talking about

Wanna move to Japan together? You'd cook, I'd make money. We could get some local hags too.

Admittedly I need to work on my career a bit before I can financially support both of us in Japan. and potentially a couple of hangs (or school girls, idgaf) too..

I used to go to the county agricultural fair to see the baby piggies because I'm a huge spider expert for pigs.
