to me it is completely logical, I once studied for like a week or two for an exam, and got like a 4.5 or some shit, I got every question right except for minor details, conclusion that teacher doesn't want me to put effort into her class at all, because it is fruitless, worthless. and before you go and call me a retard, I've been BTFOing nerds at math all my life without even trying and not being a nerd
to summarize, get that retarded teacher out of the way and your grades will improve
