Google shilling on 7chan Anonymous 26/02/17(Tue)12:01 No. 11883

Wake the fuck up, admins/anons. 7chan still runs Google reCAPTCHA. With every fucking post, every reply you're solving puzzles for Big G, feeding their AI training data, leaking IPs/browser fingerprints, calling home to surveillance HQ And sucking the fat corpo cock.

Here are some alternatives if you're too braindead to find them:
Cloudflare Turnstile: invisible, behavior-based, no image grind, no Google data harvest.
hCaptcha: pays sites sometimes, doesn't feed Google, actually stops bots without the corpo leash.
Friendly Captcha: proof-of-work in browser, zero tracking, EU-based.
Or just honeypots + basic filters—no CAPTCHA needed for low-traffic chans (Grab a tissue for those tears)

It's straight-up shilling for Google. You're making users train their death machine while preaching anon freedom, Whilst every solve pings google.com/recaptcha/api.js or similar. That's the matrix calling home.

Switch already. Or at least explain why you're still plugged in.

>2026
>sincerely believes his captcha replies are going to help AI
>trusts Cloudflare
we take pride in our low-traffic chan.
we're not big enough to be a target anymore.

>lowtraffic
Then why the fuck still route every single post through Google's surveillance API? reCAPTCHA pings google.com/recaptcha/api.js
Pride in being small should mean ditching third-party corpo leashes entirely.
Fair jab for cloudflare but my point was there are other things other than google. Still it's Cloudflare>Google
If spam's truly dead ("not a target"), prove it: kill the CAPTCHA and watch. Or admit inertia/laziness

because the captcha discourages retards.
look at how well it's working on you.

and yes, it is also laziness. nobody denied that.
you done?

Lmao, you just admitted the CAPTCHA is laziness + security theater, but still wanna pretend it's some elite filter for retards
I'm the one pointing out you're still plugged in, sucking corpo cock while LARPing anon freedom.

Look man, I don't disagree with you. Google is evil and it would be nice if we all stopped using their shit. But you can't fucking come up in here telling people how to run their site. It's disrespectfull.
7chan has been online longer than I have, and may well outlast me. It will do what it does regardless of what you or I think. If that's a problem, you're free to make your own damn site.
Without *any* spam protection.
Good luck.

I don't see how it's disrespectful in the slightest to make a thread to give feedback on their site and to name a big blaring problem
>it will do regardless what I think
Yes true , but if enough people hate google and speak about the issue of clicking bridges , finding the motorcycle and traffic lights ( That usually don't detect )

Don't want to create a new thread for something this minor, but is there some shithead on my ISP's dynamic IP range or why else can't I post without cuckflare anymore? I get why you need it, I've seen what chicoms do to some forums, just wondering if there is something I can fix on my end or not.
I want to go back to the Internet of 20 years ago...
