I am glad you guys are still alive. The page would not open for last thread, so I was worried. I'm not sure how you guys here at 7chan do things, as I am a tourist from last thread. Over at 4, the site seems to be dead at present. Might be capcha problems or something technical, dunno.

To stay relevant, I would like to say that I love this comic's time capsule nature, as all these shows and icons of childhood/teenage years slip into obscurity and the foams of the past. Even as background characters or one-panel depictions or as extras in a crowd image, I find myself staring close at silhouettes and asking myself "who is that character?", "didn't I see them before in some advert or brief clip?", "is that from cartoon network or nick? or are they some disney XD show's character?" and such. It feels similar to what far older people must feel in their late 30s and early 40s, perhaps? Where they see things from their own childhood/teenage years, far before I was born and from scenes far fainter than what I have in my memories. It makes me reflect on the nature of media, and how much certain scenes and moments remain engraved upon the psyches of supposedly-innocent kids and fucked-up retards out there.

I could ramble more, but it might be a negative thing when it comes to this site's posting etiquette or culture? I'm not sure. This'll be all I post about that, then

First one Not sure who yellow or green are. I wanna say Yellow in Princess (From Powerpuff Girls) But i am probably wrong. Green looks liek a gendercswapped Beast boy, but then I noticed the Star trek uniform.

I for one would appreciate some sort of eventual grand compilation of this entire story but with every single character named and sourced, including the background one-offs. Footnotes, annotations, however it ends up being. I find it fascinating how much depth and history there is to something like this, and I'd hate for most of the details to be left unknown. I feel similarly, though I was mostly speaking in regards to lost media and information. Growing up sheltered and out of touch, which is how I was and still am to an extent, means you'll have missed out on a lot of good things. You won't have been there during mass hypestorms, or fandom shitstorms, or threads of nonstop discussion and Original Content generation and porn art and more. Those are buried under years of material and matter and data, left behind in the flow of time and the endless junk carried along with it.

But all that said... anybody can learn how to torrent, research where to obtain downloads of shows and comics and whatever media one wants, and simply acquire it for oneself to experience for oneself on one's own time. The "good times" might have long since ended, and you might be born too late to experience the dank energy in the air - but that doesn't mean you can't get into a thing by yourself for the first time. For example, and to be thread relevant: I never got into Kim Possible or Disney shows, but what's stopping me from downloading the entire thing and watching it all in a month or less, outside of my own time and work and other factors? Nothing at all.

And to be more thread relevant, I wonder sometimes what fictional characters themselves would think about the state of their own series/franchise and viewer/community reactions and sentiments towards them. I never got the impression he was injecting a mind control kink as much as he was using the scene as a metaphor for sexual possession. Incase did a comic a few years ago called "The Invitation", a two parter about a guy who learned how to summon a demon and became enthralled to her. The second part featured his girlfriend getting sucked into the whole ordeal. Not to spoil what happens, because there was story, but the implication is that this deal they strike up with the demon queen thing was something that overtook their minds and souls and blinded them to the hideous nature of their own situation. With Mr. D it feels less like they're blinded to the hideousness of it all so much as the characters are stuck in an inescapable loop of behaviors. Their obsession (possession) bleeds their entire lives dry, taking time and energy from them. I'm not sure if Mr. D was aiming for that sort of theming, but the story is thoughtful all the same.

Except Sam and Danny are in a loving relationship, and get mind controlled and fuck others. Sam and Danny are in a monogamous relationship, and have no real hang ups (especially since in the cartoon they get together after their arcs ar resolved)
That works for Tootsy to a degreee, and Trixie overcomes it to a degree, but that fails when looking at Danny and Sam.
If it was just love and self assurance and acceptance that overcomes the pattern of behaviors why did Sam and Danny get taken over but Trixie and the blond didn't.
