By the original umbrella term Rule 34, yes, Doujin count (as well as live action porn parodies, porn parody games and smutty fanfics).

However, the term “Rule 34” has become intrinsically linked to the western illustrated porn scene. The anime/manga fanbase and the cartoons/comics fanbase have always kept themselves at a distance. The western term “anime” is different from the Japanese term “anime” for example.

So, it’s a tale of two definitions, but the more specific definition of Rule 34 that describes lewd illustration/animation from outside of Japan (and sometimes Korea?) is the more commonly used one.
